Recent work

We work with a range of organisations to produce custom made training, educational and promotional films. If you would like to discuss a project please contact us at

Here are some of our recent commissions.

Knowledge for Change (Health Education England)
These two films were made for a pilot study at the University of Salford which focused on the work of the charity Knowledge For Change, and the evaluation of overseas placements for medical students training in the NHS. The first one focuses on India, and the second one explores the experiences of student nurses on placement in Uganda.

Memories on film (University of Bradford / HIHR)
In a recent study at the University of Bradford (UK), Andrea Capstick, John Chatwin and Katherine Ludwin explored the use of participatory video with ten people who had dementia and were living in long-term social care. This was the first dedicated use of participatory video in this type of setting, and the study found a significant impact on social participation and well-being for people who had been socially marginalised and often lacked meaningful activity at the outset. This is the dissemination film from the study.

Sustainable volunteering in Uganda (Liverpool – Mulago Partnership)
The Liverpool – Mulago Partnership is a UK charity that sends medical volunteers to Uganda with the aim of improving maternal and infant health. This film was made on a field trip to Fort Portal, where three medical students were setting up a new maternity unit.
